2026 Tax Season Letter

Dear Valued Clients,

As the season is coming to a close, we are grateful for your continued trust and support in our care.  Thank you for another successful year of smooth processes with you as our proactive partners.  We hope you enjoyed consistent quality and efficiency in our services.

Changes for the 2025 filing period are already in effect, and we are ready to implement new strategies to help minimize tax exposure and capture benefits to which you are entitled.  Please contact us for a snapshot of your tax standings before the year end.  We can provide a comprehensive analysis and customize strategies meeting your financial goals.

For our returning clients, you should now be able to access your Individual or Business Tax Organizer for the upcoming filing year 2025 in your SmartVault account. This is a more secured information sharing environment than emails.  The Organizer should be used as a guide for compiling your tax documents, then allow us to interpret them for you.  If you have changing events or transactions (birth, filing status, address, additions, dispositions, etc.), please complete applicable section(s), or drop a descriptive note with supporting documents into your vault.

Please plan to upload your tax documents as you receive them to ensure nothing is missed, which will also help us to expedite the preparation of your tax return as the deadline approaches.  We will send a completion confirmation request prior to finalizing your return.  The following is our standard compliance workflow chart for your reference:

We recommend that you file your taxes as soon as possible, but only when you have all your tax documents. If you need an extension, please contact our office at info@strategicpro.tax at least 15 days before the original filing due date of your return.  Extensions will not be filed automatically. 

When your return is filed electronically, you have the option of having your refund mailed to you or deposited directly into your bank account. It's faster and safer if you have your refund deposited directly to your bank account in as few as 10 days.  Please provide bank routing and account numbers for processing of your refund.
